That's some pretty good company to be in.

You know that you're living right when you're mentioned in the same breath as legendary former Detroit Red Wings captain Steve Yzerman.
Vegas Golden Knights forward Jonathan Marchessault has put himself firmly into the conversation for the Conn Smythe Trophy thanks to his clutch goal scoring throughout the 2023 postseason. He's already scored 13 goals in the 20 games that he's appeared in, leading the team in goals while also tying forward Jack Eichel in total points.
He's helped the Golden Knights to the Stanley Cup Final for the second time in six years, and thanks to his efforts, he's now tied both Yzerman and Pittsburgh Penguins forward Jake Guentzel by becoming the 3rd NHL forward in the last 30 years to score in each of the first three games of a Cup Final series:
Right now, Marchessault and the Golden Knights still enjoy a two games to one lead over the Florida Panthers, who were able to claw their way back into the series last night with an overtime victory in Game 3.
