The Calgary Flames are moving on to face the Edmonton Oilers in round 2 thanks to a Game 7 OT victory over the Dallas Stars last night.
When Johnny Gaudreau sniped home the tight angle, game winning goal the C of Red crowd in Calgary's famed Saddledome went absolutely BANANAS.

And the best part is that the crowd didn't stop cheering just because the game was over. The roar of the crowd continued through the post-game handshakes and even long after the Flames left the ice and headed to the dressing room. But, the best reaction of all might have come when Gaudreau stepped off the ice himself and embraced injured teammate Sean Monahan. In fact, Gaudreau's mother Jane Gaudreau agrees. She posted on social media last night that she cried tears of joy when she saw her son and Sean hug each other in the team's dressing room tunnel.
