Jeremy Roenick absolutely clowns Pierre-Luc Dubois
Brutal callout from the NHL legend!
HockeyFeed
The Los Angeles Kings sent forward Gabriel Vilardi alongside Alex Iafallo, Rasmus Kupari, and a 2024 2nd-round draft pick, to the Winnipeg Jets in exchange for Pierre-Luc Dubois; the Kings subsequently inked Dubois to a lengthy extension.
This came on the heels of Dubois having requested a trade out of Winnipeg - after having already requested a trade out of his first NHL home of the Columbus Blue Jackets.
Enter former NHL forward Jeremy Roenick, who hasn't ever shied away from stating exactly what's on his mind regardless of who will and won't like it.
"Dubois hasn't stopped acting like a big baby since he entered the NHL," Roenick said. "He's done nothing but whine and complain since he's been in the NHL."
"He's not consistent as a player at all, simply because he spends too much time whining and crying about where (and for whom) he plays," Roenick continued.
However, Roenick's comments weren't all negative, as he went on to say that if Dubois were to focus, he could become a key player for the Kings.
"He better play up to his new big contract, because he can be a good hockey player," he said. "I hope, for the Kings' sake, that he matures and stops crying and complaining all the time."
