The Arizona Coyotes have traded defenseman Matt Dumba and a seventh-round pick in the 2025 NHL Draft to the Tampa Bay Lightning in exchange for our fifth-round selection in the 2027 NHL Draft.
No salary retained in the deal as Nashville takes all $5.3 million - which dampened the return.
In 51 games this season, the veteran forward has nine goals, 16 assists and 25 points while playing 14:02 minutes per game.
He brings to Tampa Bay his past playoff experience that will help the Lightning down the road come postseason time.
