According to a report from NHL insider Frank Seravalli, a trio of veteran NHLers have been placed on waivers for the purposes of a contract buyout today.
Hitting the waiver wire are Edmonton Oilers forward James Neal, Vancouver Canucks goaltender Braden Holtby and San Jose Sharks goaltender Martin Jones.
