Well, this definitely isn't what the Toronto Maple Leafs need right now.
Goaltender Ilya Samsonov was forced from today's practice session after being shaken up following his taking a shot; beat writer David Alter described the Russian goaltender as being "in distress".
Right now, the Leafs have both veteran Martin Jones and youngster Joseph Woll behind Samsonov, and depending on the severity of Samsonov's injury, one or both of them could soon be forced into action.
