It hasn't been the best of weeks for New York Rangers goaltender Igor Shesterkin, who happens to the the reigning Vezina Trophy winner as last season's best player at his position as well as having been a finalist for League MVP.
Following their loss to the rival New Jersey Devils earlier this week, Shesterkin accepted the blame for the loss and heavily criticized his own play.
"The goalie was s— again," he said of himself. "I feel so bad. I play so bad. I’m ashamed.”
However, despite his recent stretch of less than stellar play on the ice, Shesterkin continues to be one sharp dressed man. Not only has he gone back to his classic pad setup that mimics the iconic ceiling design of Madison Square Garden, but he's also debuted a new mask paint job courtesy of DaveArt's Dave Gunnarsson.
As you may remember, Gunnarsson boasts nearly 3/4 of all NHL goaltenders among his giant clientele list, with perhaps his most prominent customer being former Rangers net minder and his fellow Swede in Henrik Lundqvist.
