An ugly story out of Saskatchewan.

The Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL have announced that 20 year old goaltender Jared Picklyk is suspended indefinitely after his arrest this past weekend.
Saskatchewan RCMP announced that Picklyk was taken into custody at 1:25am Saturday, just hours after the Broncos eliminated the Nipawin Hawks in the SJHL playoffs. Picklyk allegedly drove off the road and actually ran into a home on 12th ave in Humboldt, SK. He was arrested on scene after refusing to comply with police and declining an alcohol breath screening test.
There were no injuries in the crash and RCMP say they're still investigating the incident. It's unclear how long Picklyk's suspension will last but given that this is his final season of junior eligibility, it seems like his junior career is over. The Kelowna, BC native is undrafted in the NHL and has played for the WHL's Lethbridge Hurricanes and Tri-City Americans.
