Handful of NHL veterans land on waivers
Plenty of new additions to the waiver wire today.

As NHL teams work to trim their rosters down before the start of the 2023-24 regular season schedule, there have been several more players that have landed on the waiver wire today.
Take a look at the latest list of names that are now up for grabs, which include a handful of players from the New York Rangers.
Keaton Middleton (COL), Tyler Wotherspoon (NJD), Spencer Smallman (COL), Alex Belzile (NYR), Anton Blidh (NYR), Turner Elson (NYR), Ty Emberson (NYR), Connor Mackey (NYR), Riley Nash (NYR), and Adam Gaudette (STL)
Blidh has appeared in a total of 84 NHL games, most recently with the Colorado Avalanche last year. It's the opposite for Nash, who has played 578 career games. He signed a two-year, two-way contract with the Rangers this past summer.
Gaudette has nearly 300 games worth of NHL experience, having played with the likes of the Ottawa Senators, Chicago Blackhawks, and Vancouver Canucks.
