Habs unveil full lineup for tonight's game against the Maple Leafs.
Here are both your starting lineups.
The Montreal Canadiens only have 4 preseason games remaining on their schedule before the regular season officially gets underway, including a contest later this evening against Canadian rivals the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Considering that the Canadiens are currently in the full swing of a roster rebuild, these next 4 preseason games will likely go a long way to determine how the roster for this season will shape itself out. For that reason it comes as little surprise to see that Canadiens head coach Martin St. Louis will have a large complement of his youngsters on the ice for tonight's game. There will of course be a number of veteran players on the ice for the Habs as well, with perhaps Sean Monahan being the most notable name on the roster this evening as a relative newcomer to the organization.
First here is a full breakdown of tonight's Habs roster, as per Eric Engels:
Forwards:
Dadonov-Dvorak-Gallagher
Drouin-Monahan-Anderson
Hoffman-Dach-Slafkovsky
Simoneau-Gignac-Belzile
Defensemen:
Matheson-Leskinen
Xhekaj-Barron
Schueneman-Bowey
Goalies:
Allen
Poulin
The Maple Leafs have already announced their full roster for tonight's game as well, with the Leafs making the announcement on Sunday. You will notice that there are several of the Maple Leafs' big guns on the roster for tonight's game, which means that the youngsters being featured by the Canadiens are in for a tough test in this particular preseason game.
