Habs’ players get brutally punished for blowout loss in Washington!

I would not want to be them… Check out what happened in the video:

On Tuesday, it was a 8-2 loss at the hands of the Seattle Kraken. On Thursday, it was the Washington Capitals’ turn to destroy the Montreal Canadiens, crushing them with a 6-3 win and sending them to their sixth loss in eight games. There was hope for the Habs as they led 2-1 midway into the second period, and then, they… Well, head coach Martin St. Louis said it best:

“We’re in a good spot going into the third and you just throw up all over yourself.

He also said: “We’re doing it to ourselves. We’re putting our finger down our throat, you know what I mean? I’m not talking about food poisoning.”

The Canadiens will be back in action on Saturday in Pittsburgh against the Penguins and coach St. Louis want to make sure his players got the message that another blowout loss cannot take place.

After the morning skate in Washington before heading out to Pittsburgh, the Habs players were punished in a bag skate that will surely be a strong reminder to turn things around and kick off November on the right track.

With a 4-6-1 record following the first month, the Canadiens are not in panic mode - yet - but it is clear that St. Louis is getting frustrated and wanted to make sure his players got the message.

And a bag skate surely conveys that.
