The preseason is finally coming to a close and we are drawing very close to the start of this year's National Hockey League regular season.

Both the Detroit Red Wings and the Toronto Maple Leafs have one game remaining on their preseason schedules and they will face one another later today in what will be the final game of the preseason for both teams.

The two teams are taking very different approaches in this one, with the Red Wings featuring a number of their regulars while the Maple Leafs will be going with what looks very much like an American Hockey League level roster.
