Former NHLer Aaron Ward shares details of alleged sexual abuse scandal
A horrible, awful story. Thoughts and prayers to Ward and anyone else affected by these allegations.

Former NHL defenseman and TSN analyst Aaron Ward, now a bit of a freelance hockey analyst, made a stop on TSN's 690 radio today in Montreal and... well things got a bit heavy.
During a segment in which Ward and radio hosts Mitch Melnick and Joey Alfieri were talking about today's BellLetsTalk initiative, Ward opened up not only about his gambling addiction but he also detailed some pretty horrific sexual assault allegations from his time with the University of Michigan as a college player.
Ward alleges that he was sexually assaulted by infamous University of Michigan athletic doctor Dr. Robert Anderson. If that doesn't come as a surprise to you, it's likely because you know Dr. Robert Anderson's history. Despite being forced to resign from teaching in 1979 as a result of "fooling around with male students", Dr. Anderson remained with the school for another quarter century and was the football and hockey team's top athletic training until his retirement in 2003. Allegations similar to the ones levied by Ward have come and gone throughout the years, but Dr. Anderson, now deceased, was never brought to justice.
