What a mess things are in Calgary!

It’s been a rough day for the Calgary Flames, goalie Daniel Vladar and head coach Darryl Sutter.
Now add forward Jonathan Huberdeau to the mix.
After Thursday night’s humiliating 5-2 loss at the hands of the Detroit Red Wings, Sutter blamed goaltending and lack of leadership for his team’s recent struggles. He was quickly called out by fans and Huberdeau’s agent Allan Walsh, who took a shot at the bench boss on Twitter.
After team practice on Friday, Huberdeau was asked to comment on his agent’s tweet and quickly reminded media that he is not the one who posted it.
“I woke up this morning and saw that tweet, Huberdeau commented, per team insider Eric Francis. “It doesn’t come from me. It’s my agent, but it’s from him. It doesn’t reflect on me or the guys. We all love each other… We are having fun.”
Huberdeau then clarified a few things about his relationship with coach Sutter.
“Darryl is Darryl. Sometimes you like what the coach do(es). Some nights you don’t like it. You’re never 100% happy with the coach’s decision, but me and Darryl have a great connection, great friendship.”

Huberdeau was more than honest about being annoyed at all the questions on his agent’s outburst, but still managed to laugh about it.
“Yeah, I wouldn’t be here right now, talking to you guys. I’d be on my way home.”
