Corey Perry hit the ice as a member of the Edmonton Oilers for the first time on Monday.
Veteran National Hockey League forward Corey Perry is officially a member of the Edmonton Oilers, and on Monday morning he hit the ice with his new teammates for the very first time.
To no one's surprise there was a ton of anticipation and excitement surrounding Perry's appearance at the team's morning skate today, both due to the recent signing as well as due to the controversial circumstances under which Perry left the Chicago Blackhawks organization.

The Oilers are set to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Tuesday and Perry's appearance at practice today may be an indication that he intends to quickly insert himself into the mix, but there has been no official indication as of yet that Perry will appear against the Blue Jackets.
