Fans roast Bobby Ryan online after tone-deaf take

Former NHL forward Bobby Ryan is finding himself getting roasted online for a rather tone-deaf take on social media that he's likely regretting at this point.

He initially responded to analyst Meghan Chayka, who posted her excitement about the recent exciting action in women's basketball, writing: 

"Why does it seem like everyone is watching women's basketball??

Oh because EVERYONE is watching"

Ryan himself soon responded: 

"Name 7 players. Not 1. Not 2…5-7.
First and last names…go for it"

Chayka responded soon afterwards, albeit with a positive message: 

"Bobby... you have to watch the next games! I promise you, Caitlin Clark is 🔥. Angel Reese had a great first half too. I played basketball so I do watch and like it . Paige Bueckers, Juju Watson, Ashlyn Watkins's. Some Stanford players are really popular too. I can name more Sens but barely"
