Evgeny Kuznetsov goes viral for ridiculous KHL shootout goals
Kuzy is still working his magic!
Former Washington Capitals Stanley Cup champion forward Evgeny Kuznetsov decided to continue his playing career in his native Russia, signing a deal with SKA Saint Petersburg of the KHL after splitting last season with the Washington Capitals and Carolina Hurricanes.
And he's continuing to work his magic that made him one of the more exciting players during his prime days in the NHL with the Capitals. He's gone viral for his eye-popping pair of shootout goals in a recent game, both of which saw him stickhandle while making his way toward the net very slowly before beating the opposition goaltender:
Drafted 26th overall by the Capitals in 2010, Kuznetsov would play a number of years in Washington and helped them win the franchise's 1st Stanley Cup in 2018. He finishes his NHL career with 173 goals and 402 assists.
