Evander Kane's ex-wife drags Matthew Tkachuk into dispute.
Evander Kane's ex-wife has been making several inflammatory posts on social media.
Any player competing for the Stanley Cup in the Stanley Cup Final has to be at their very best if they want to have any hope of victory, and it appears as though the ex-wife of Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane has made it her mission to make sure that her ex-husband isn't able to focus on the task at hand.
Kane's ex-wife, Anna Kane, has taken to social media over the last several days and has made inflammatory post after inflammatory post in what appears to be an effort to get under Evander's skin as he competes against the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Final. To make matters worse, Anna has dragged another player into the off-ice drama by involving Panthers forward Matthew Tkachuk, seemingly through no fault of his own.
Anna posted an image to her Instagram story that claimed she had gotten a Matthew Tkachuk jersey autographed by the player himself.
She also published a second photograph to her Instagram story that once again dragged Tkachuk into this off-ice mess without any wrongdoing on the part of Tkachuk. In the screenshot, Anna appears to be sending a private message to Tkachuk one that is very suggestive in nature.
This would be distasteful under any circumstances but the fact that Evander hasn't even been playing in the Stanley Cup Final, with the player sidelined due to injury, makes it seem all that much worse. The decision to include Tkachuk, who seemingly has no part to play in this dispute between Anna and Evander, also seems to be in very poor taste.
Anna has even posted disturbing images to indicate that she is hovering around the area of Rogers Place while Evander and the Oilers are competing in the Stanley Cup Final.
This is obviously a less than ideal situation to be dealing with when the pressure of a Stanley Cup Final is already weighing down on your shoulders, and I hope that the two main parties involved can find some way to come to a peaceful resolution.
