Evander Kane’s estranged wife tracks him down in Canada amidst nasty custody battle

Back in December, Evander Kane was granted sole custody of the couple’s young daughter, Kensington. He then signed a contract with the Edmonton Oilers, who are currently battling in the Western conference final, which the Colorado Avalanche lead 2-0.

The series heads to Edmonton, but Kane might have more on his mind than the fact that he’s only recorded a goal and an assist so far in the matchup.

On Instagram, his estranged wife Anna has recorded her latest updates in her battle to get custody of Kensington again, and she has now in Canada, tracking down Evander Kane to know where her daughter is and how to fight for her rights as a mother. These are some of the stories documented in the past 24 hours.

The settlement on their custody battle came after a lot of turmoil amid the couple. She once shared a video to her Instagram Story that showed Kane pointing a “loaded” gun at her. There is also a claim from Evander Kane that Anna faked a pregnancy with their second child for months after getting an abortion in July — which she previously denied in legal documents filed before the hearing.

Their battle is simply getting nastier and nastier, and we can only hope that their young daughter will not suffer from this. A judge previously ruled that Anna will have professionally supervised visits with their daughter, pending her undergoing a psychiatric evaluation. However, according to Anna, she hasn’t been in touch with her daughter since.

And now she’s in Canada looking for her. 

We can only assume that it’s distracting to Kane and the Oilers especially amidst the Western conference final…
