Evander Kane plays under provocative fake name in beer league!

Oilers forward Evander Kane is enjoying his summer in Edmonton and decided to join a beer league to play some recreational games with some of his friends.

He is wearing number 5, and he chose a controversial name to remind his NHL rivals what type of player he is. He is using the name “FA AFO” in the league, an acronym for “Fuck Around And Find Out.”

This is a reminder to when Kane pinned Vegas Golden Knights forward Keegan Kolesar to the ice and landed several hard body shots on his seemingly defenseless opponent during the postseason. When asked about it after the game, Kane told reporters, “When ya wanna f*ck around, sometimes ya gotta find out.”

Kane may now be using that saying as a motto, as well as his fake name for the Broadstreet Bullies as it appears on the scoresheet.

Kane has suited up for just one game so far and scored two goals. Let’s see if that fake name catches in the Oilers’ dressing room this upcoming season as his new nickname.
