Eichel takes a shot to the face, leaves the game leaking badly all over the ice

In case you missed it last night, Vegas Golden Knights superstar Jack Eichel briefly left his team's game against the Columbus Blue Jackets after taking a point shot from teammate Nic Hague.

Here's the play in question:

Eichel quickly threw his helmet off and skated off the ice to receive medical attention. He appeared to be struck directly underneath his left eye and looks to have been spared from any serious injury. He did return to action and the Golden Knights ended up winning the game 3-2 so no harm, no foul.
