Dylan Larkin sets franchise mark not seen since 2009
The Red Wings captain comes through again.

There is no player who is more valuable to the well being and success of the Detroit Red Wings than captain Dylan Larkin, and it was beyond obvious how badly he was missed during a pair of absences due to injury in both December and March.
And thanks to his second period goal tonight for the Red Wings against the visiting New York Rangers, Larkin added another notch to his impressive resume.
The goal was his 30th of the season, and in doing so, he became the first Red Wings player to record three straight 30- goal campaigns since former captain and fan favorite Henrik Zetterberg did so four straight years from 2005-06 to 2008-09.
