Every fan in Winnipeg had their eyes fix on the return of former Jet Evander Kane on Sunday night.
The first half of the game was a little rough for Kane, who started the night off by almost instantly slipping on a puck after hitting the ice, much to the delight of the fans in attendance who cheered loudly. We've included a video of this if you're interested below the video of the hit.
What drew arguably the loudest reaction of the night however was Dustin Byfuglien's hit on Kane near center ice. Byfuglien lined up Kane right in front of the Sabres bench, and Kane ended up taking an awkward fall to the ice after trying to dodge out of the way.
