Veteran NHL forward Milan Lucic is back where it all began, having agreed to re-join the Boston Bruins with whom he helped to the Stanley Cup championship in 2011 and also gave the fans of Beantown countless great memories.
The unfortunate part of that is that he's getting up there in age for a professional hockey player, and his playing style makes him for more susceptible to injury troubles. He sat out his team's last game against the Anaheim Ducks, and though he returned to practice today, it wouldn't be long before he would depart.
So far in his return to Boston, Lucic has registered a pair of assists.
