There's clearly an issue right now with new Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman John Klingberg, who was shaken up during his team's 5-2 victory over the Buffalo Sabres at Kraft Hockeyville 2023 at Joe Thornton Community Centre in St. Thomas, Ontario.
Klingberg was removed from the game after having something "tighten up", and it's now been a full week since he's been available to practice:
Klingberg joined the Leafs this summer after agreeing to a one year, $4.15 million contract given to him by new Toronto general manager Brad Treliving. The Swedish defenseman is coming off a season in which he split his time between the Anaheim Ducks and Minnesota Wild; he signed with the Ducks last offseason after having played several years with the Dallas Stars.
