Colorado Avalanche defenseman Cale Makar was forced from their game on Saturday night against the Anaheim Ducks at Honda Center after he was "dealing with something" according to head coach Jared Bednar. However, he wouldn't specify if it was an injury or something else.
And unfortunately for the Avs, Makar is unavailable for tonight's game against the Los Angeles Kings at Crypto.com Arena. Additionally, Bednar did not have any kind of a timeline as to a return to action for Makar.
In his stead tonight, Sam Malinski will slot into the lineup.
