While he's certainly among the more gifted young forwards in the National Hockey League, Tim Stützle of the Ottawa Senators has garnered quite the reputation for embellishment.
During last night's game at Little Caesars Arena, Red Wings forward Christian Fischer was whistled for a trip after Stutzle executed another Olympic-level dive. And it was obvious what Red Wings head coach Derek Lalonde thought:
Even former NHL referee Tim Peel decided to chime in, saying that the German forward sure has a penchant for diving:
