The head coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs will return to the city in which he achieved ultimate glory as a head coach in the National Hockey League tonight and, as you might expect, it will be a pretty special moment for Craig Berube.

Berube is not one for emotional moments however and he will no doubt be a little sour about all the attention that will be placed on him this evening, but when asked about his feelings on the upcoming game Berube had nothing but kind words to share about his former team.

"Listen I had a great stop there," admitted Berube as per TSN. "I've got a lot of special memories there and a lot of people I've become very close with."

Berube made sure to credit both his former players as well as the organization for the success he achieved during his tenure as head coach of the St. Louis Blues, capturing the organization's first and only Stanley Cup championship thus far.

"I worked with a lot of great players that I'm very close to still, obviously the organization too," said Berube.

Berube however says he remembers St. Louis most fondly because of the love that he felt from the fans in that city, highlighting just how much that meant to him during his tenure as a member of the Blues.

"But for me it's a special place because of the people," admitted Berube. "They love their sports and they really root their teams on and I had a real good time there."

Berube will no doubt get a nice video package to commemorate his time as the head coach of the Blues tonight, but don't expect the cantankerous coach of the Maple Leafs to shed too many tears as he tends to maintain a pretty gruff exterior at all times.
