The Toronto Maple Leafs will be coming into their game against the Washington Capitals this evening with a new look to their lineup after head coach Craig Berube made a number of adjustments on Friday.

The Maple Leafs have been dealing with a significant number of injuries to their forward group, as well as a suspension to veteran enforcer Ryan Reaves, forcing Berube to adapt his lineup as players come in and out of the lineup. It would seem he is once again doing so, with several adjustments noticeable during the team's morning skate.

Berube has put star forwards Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner back together on the first line where they will be joined by Leafs forward Matthew Knies, meaning the end of the pairing of Marner and former Maple Leafs captain John Tavares.

That will leave Tavares on a line with fellow forwards Pontus Holmberg and William Nylander which also means a demotion for Maple Leafs rookie forward Fraser Minten who was previously on the second line. Minten has now been bumped down to the third line where he is once again playing the center position, as opposed to playing winger which was his role on the team's second line. Minten was centering forwards Steve Lorentz and Nicholas Robertson during the team's morning skate.

Here is a full look at how how the team's lineup broke down during the morning skate as per Terry Koshan of the Toronto Sun:

Knies-Matthews-Marner
Holmberg-Tavares-Nylander
Robertson-Minten-Lorentz
Grebenkin-Dewar-Reaves

As always, this lineup is subject to any last minute changes that could occur before puck drop.
