The Arizona Coyotes have become the National Hockey League's punching line for some time now thanks to the fact that not only has their ownership situation been in limbo, but that they also play in a college rink that seats just 4,600 spectators - and they're not even the main tenants of the venue.
Meanwhile, it wasn't long ago that the organization was accused of failing to live up to contractual obligations by being very late on paying out player bonuses. And now, the latest embarrassment has been made public.
According to NHL Insider Frank Seravalli, the Coyotes are being accused of not paying their hotel bills from earlier this season.
Right now, the Coyotes are on the verge of being relocated to Salt Lake City, Utah.
