Corey Perry gets emotional talking about his good friend Ryan Getzlaf
The shaky voice at the end gets me.

In case you missed it earlier this week, longtime Anaheim Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf announced that he'll be retiring following the regular season.
Getzlaf retires as the Ducks' all time leader in games played, points and penalty minutes. He also has a Stanley Cup championship from early on in his career in 2007.
Getzlaf has been the Ducks' captain since 2010 and is one of just 11 players in NHL history who have captained the same team for a decade and have scored 1,000. Getzlaf joins the likes of Steve Yzerman, Mario Lemieux, Joe Sakic, Ray Bourque, Alex Delvecchio, Jean Beliveau, Jarome Iginla, Ron Francis, Sidney Crosby and Alex Ovechkin in that respect. Not a bad list there...
In the days since Getzlaf's announcement there has been no shortage of former teammates coming forward to reflect on his career. But, perhaps no one's comments mean as much as Corey Perry's. The former Ducks forward is now, of course, with the Tampa Bay Lightning but he spent over 13 seasons with Getzlaf on the Ducks, where the team were linemates for the better part of a decade.
Last night Perry delivered an emotional message to his good friend.
