Corey Perry busted stealing equipment from his new teammates.

Corey Perry comes into Edmonton and simply takes what he needs.

Last week, veteran National Hockey League forward Corey Perry made his debut as a member of the Edmonton Oilers, choosing to join the franchise after being unceremoniously cut from the Chicago Blackhawks roster.

Perry had a number of choices available to him and it became pretty clear this week that Perry's decision really did come right down to the wire when the man affectionately known as "The Worm" was spotted using some gear that didn't exactly belong to him.

As Perry was headed out onto the ice, some keen eyed observers noticed some interesting characteristics about Perry's equipment. Most notably they noticed that the equipment wasn't Perry's at all, but instead had been appropriated from a number of his Oilers teammates.

Most notably, Perry was spotted using Josh Anderson's stick and Dylan Holloway's gloves, and a great photo of both was captured while Perry was standing on the sidelines.

This is no doubt only a temporary setup until Perry can get some of his own equipment custom made, something I expect we will see in short order now that Perry has officially signed with the Oilers.
