Edmonton Oilers captain Connor McDavid and Lauren Kyle married this past July after McDavid’s first Stanley Cup final appearance. He may be focused on his career at this time, and so is Lauren, who recently made an important announcement concerning her own career.

Lauren, who recently changed her name to Kyle McDavid, announced that she is launching an Oilers-themed clothing line. The brand, Sports Club Atelier, makes trendy sweaters, tops, hats, socks and claw clips.

“My inspiration was really drawn from collegiate sportswear. Just the spirit and the aesthetic and history behind collegiate sportswear,” she said.

The Oilers posted the video, providing a lot of details on the collection.

“The next collection, we’re hoping to drop before playoffs and that will have an entirely different line of items. Edmonton, I mean, we have such a rich history of hockey here and such an amazing fan viewership.”

On her Instagram page, Lauren made the change to Lauren Kyle McDavid and fans quickly noticed.

Now she is also involved with the team and is focused on her side of the business as her husband continues to rule on the ice.

Congrats to Lauren and the new line. I’m sure we will see many fans sporting the items of clothing at Oilers’ game in the next few months.
