Connor McDavid easily tops NHLPA Player poll

Edmonton Oilers superstar captain Connor McDavid is a human cheat code, having already scored 58 goals in 71 games played this season while also amassing a total of 136 points. Essentially, McDavid is playing on another planet right now compared to the majority of his peers. 

So it's certainly not a surprise that the rest of his peers have voted him the player that they would most like to have on the ice with the game on the line. With 59.3% of the vote, McDavid easily topped the list of players that his NHL brethren believe could have the biggest impact on the ice during a must-win situation.

The poll was conducted with 626 participants voting on 14 topics, including the player they hate playing against but would most love to have on their team along with most complete player and other categories. 

McDavid leads the NHL in points, and is easily considered the front runner to win the Hart Memorial Trophy as the League's most valuable player.
