Connor Bedard finally responds to reports that he wants out of Chicago
The 2023 #1 pick sets the record straight today.
The Chicago Blackhawks' 2024-25 season finally, mercifully came to and end this week.
It was another rough season for the team and they'll once again be in the mix for the NHL Draft Lottery, finishing 31st out of 32 teams. With another wasted year in Chicago and with superstar Connor Bedard's contract set to expire after next season, there have been rumblings that the 2023 1st overall pick is unhappy with the team. There have even been rumblings that Bedard wants out of Chicago and is trying to force a trade to another team.
Nonsense, says Bedard himself.
Bedard finally addressed the rumors with the media today, stating that, "I love it (in Chicago). I want to be here for a long time."
