Claude Giroux has his car stolen... for the second time in four months!

For the second time in four months Claude Giroux has had his family car stolen from his Kanata, Ontario driveway.

Back in September Claude's wife Ryanne Giroux announced on Twitter that Claude's car was stolen out of their driveway and that thieves went for a joy ride throughout the evening. She also said that she was unable to get ahold of local police until the next morning.

Claude reportedly called in a report to 911 but was told that the theft was not an "emergency" and so officers were not dispatched.

Seriously...

The car was apparently never recovered by police and Claude had been driving around a 'loaner car' until his insurance handled the matter, only to have that car stolen as well.

Ryanne posted on Twitter yet again today that Claude's car, this time the loaner car, had been stolen from their driveway yet again.

The alleged theft reportedly took place yesterday evening which Claude was out of town with the Senators on a three game road trip.

Ironically, Ryanne, Claude and their children recently did a commercial for Hyundai Canada this past summer that airs regularly during Senators games. The commercial features Ryanne at the wheel while Claude and the couple's son sleep in the back seat.

I mean... you just can't make this stuff up...

All the best to the Giroux's in the recovery of their vehicle(s), but seriously... what the Hell is going on in Kanata? Is there an outbreak of vehicle thefts in the area?
