Boston Bruins forward Milan Lucic will be arraigned in Boston Municipal Court on Monday and we now know what charges he will face.

On Sunday, the Suffolk district attorney’s office announced that Lucic would face a single charge of assault and battery on a family or household member, a misdemeanor.

Lucic was arrested over the weekend after an alleged domestic incident during the late hours of Friday evening and/or the early hours of Saturday morning.

The Boston Bruins forward has taken an indefinite leave of absence following the news over the weekend and many now question whether or not this ugly incident will mark the end of Lucic's career in the National Hockey League.

The Bruins signed Lucic, who had played for the Bruins in the past, to a 1 year deal at the opening of free agency this summer, one that carries a cap hit of $1 million per season. Lucic has only appeared in 4 games for the Bruins this season due to injury, and he currently boasts a plus minus rating of -2 on the season with no goals and 2 assists over that stretch.
