Carey Price's wife Angela, who is very active on social media, is receiving some backlash from fans after publicly endorsing Donald Trump for US President. Price, who is an American citizen but who lives in Canada, posted on Instagram that she's endorsing Trump because she "thinks he will do a way better job running the country" than Kamala Harris.
Price states that she "went liberal" during the Covid-19 pandemic but that she was "met with more hate and negativity than she had ever experienced." She states that media manipulation and its obsession with celebrity has driven her to the right side of the political scale.

Look, I'm not looking to get into a political debate. I'm not even an American citizen so my opinion on the matter is kind of moot. I will say though... maybe we don't need to know everyone's political leanings? I long for the old days when I didn't have knowledge of my favorite players' (and their wives'!) politics. Stuff like this only serves to rile people up or, alternatively, to serve their own ego.
Who cares who a former NHL goalie's wife is voting for?

Like I said, Price is dealing with significant backlash for her endorsement of Trump because... well... what did she expect?
