Bruins make 4 roster moves ahead of clash with Habs.
The Bruins are set to renew an age old rivalry and they are making a number of adjustments to their roster.
The Boston Bruins are getting some help ahead of a rivalry matchup against the Montreal Canadiens on Saturday night.
On Saturday, the Bruins announced 4 roster moves as they added both Brandon Carlo and Derek Forbort to their active roster and made corresponding moves by sending both Mason Lohrei and Johnny Beecher back down to the American Hockey League where they will join the Providence Bruins.
Carlo has been out of the lineup since a clash against the Colorado Avalanche earlier this month, one in which he left the game early with an upper body injury. Forbort on the other hand has been out of the lineup for what feels like most of the season with his last appearance for the Bruins coming all the way back on December 3rd.
The return of Carlo especially bodes well for the Bruins as he was having one of the better starts he has had as a Bruin this season. Through his first 39 games of the season Carlo recorded 2 goals and 8 assists for 10 points and currently boasts a plus minus rating of +15 on the season.
