Bruins had held trade discussion surrounding Linus Ullmark!
We get that a lot could happen with the goalie market, but Ullmark leaving Boston sounds ridiculous!!

The Boston Bruins do not need to move on from one of goalies Linus Ullmark or Jeremy Swayman, despite talks that the team needs to create cap space this summer to make free-agent signings.
However, Jimmy Murphy of Boston Hockey Now has revealed that the Bruins have had trade discussions surrounding Ullmark. It is obvious that GM Don Sweeney will need to free up some cap space, but nothing appears to be close in terms of a trade involving Ullmark.
But chatter did come out around the NHL Draft and prior to the opening of free agency on Saturday that the Pittsburgh Penguins might have taken a shot at attempting to acquire the reigning Vezina Trophy winner.
At the Draft, where the Penguins had a first round pick to offer if they wanted to get a deal done, Pittsburgh elected to keep the pick and select Brayden Yager 14th overall. Maybe it’s because they were told a trade for Ullmark was not going to happen.
Who knows, maybe Kyle Dubas tried about before noon on July 1st, but when he saw it was not going to happen, it turned back to Tristan Jarry to sign him long-term in Pittsburgh.
In 49 games played, Ullmark posted a 40-6-1 record with a .938 save percentage and 1.89 goals against average.
My humble opinion : the Bruins need to free up cap space elsewhere and keep Ullmark as their goalie of the future and the perfect half of that goalie hug with Swayman.
