Bruins get some bad news on forward Trent Frederic
So... he's off the trade block then?
This just in, Boston Bruins forward Trent Frederic is out 'week to week' after suffering a lower body injury in Tuesday's loss to the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Frederic, of course, is a pending unrestricted free agent and has factored into trade rumors for weeks now. NHL insider Chris Johnston reports however that Frederic's injury won't prevent the Bruins from shopping him at the deadline and that he's still in play on the trade market.

Frederic is in the final year of a two year deal that pays him $2.3 million annually. He has eight goals and 15 points n 57 games with the Bruins so far this season.
