Bruins announcer Jack Edwards under fire for slamming the Sabres
This is so entertaining on social media!

We all know how passionate Boston Bruins announcer Jack Edwards is - quite honestly I believe he is the most biased and annoying sports announcer, but he went a tad too far on Thursday as his favourite team faced the league-last Buffalo Sabres.
We all know how bad the season has been for the Sabres, who fired head coach Ralph Krueger on Tuesday in the midst of a 12-game winless skid. Don Granato was named interim head coach. Krueger was dismissed just two weeks after general manager Kevyn Adams stated that he was evaluating the entire operation, including the coach, with the Sabres in jeopardy of extending their playoff drought to an NHL record-matching 10th season.
However, the Sabres and their fanbase don’t need to hear Edwards slamming mercilessly live on TV. He slammed the team and its players on several occasions in the first period, even saying “Rasmus Ristolainen leads the league in frustration.”
He even dared to say that his Bruins were taken on "the NHL version of a dumpster fire, the Buffalo Sabres."
No Jack, you are "the NHL version of a dumpster fire."
This prompted Sabres insider Mike Harrington to react to the announcer’s insults and called him out for slamming an NHL team : he points out “employees of teams and television networks who are rightsholders for a league generally aren’t in the business of gratuitous slams of the opposition like that. They’re all generally in it together.”
This isn’t the first time Edwards is under fire… the Bruins’ announcer seems to never listen to what he’s saying… and so I believe fans shouldn’t even react to what he’s saying… it means nothing.
