Brock Boeser undergoes surgery in the preseason.
A tough break for the Canucks.
It's hard not to feel for young Brock Boeser who has caught yet another tough break after going through so much as of late.
On Monday, the Vancouver Canucks officially announced that Brock Boeser would be out of action for roughly one month after he suffered an injury to his hand in the early days of training camp. The Canucks expect Boeser to be out for 3 - 4 weeks, and while that is far from ideal it is far better to have this happen now than once the regular season has already begun.
Boeser put up 23 goals and 23 assists for the Canucks last season for a total of 46 points over 71 regular season games.
Here is to hoping he makes a full and speedy recovery.
