Breaking: Rumors of a blockbuster 3-player trade between the Sens & Avs.
Talk of a big time three player deal.
HockeyFeed
There are rumors of a big three-player deal to come between the Ottawa Senators and Colorado Avalanche.
In a recent segment on 91.9 Sports FM, Jean-Charles Lajoie revealed that he has heard rumblings that the Avalanche and Senators are looking at a swap of centers, with Matt Duchene going to the Senators and Kyle Turris going back the other way to the Avs.
According to Lajoie Sakic wants to come to terms on a contract extension with Turris prior to pulling the trigger on the deal, a move that makes sense given the fact that he is an unrestricted free agent at the end of the season.
Lajoie also expects that there will be additional pieces from the Senators included in this deal, and while he admits his sources for this particular piece of information are not as reliable, he believes that 19-year-old defensive prospect Max Lajoie would also be part of this deal.
Needless to say these three players alone would make this a huge trade, and it may be even bigger if there are additional pieces attached in this deal.
