Breaking: Gruesome photos of Alex Ovechkin's injuries revealed!

On Thursday reports revealed that Alex Ovechkin had been playing through two major injuries in the playoffs, and now on Friday we have some irrefutable evidence that he was in fact playing hurt.

According to a report from RMNB, Ovechkin's wife published a picture on social media showing the gruesome damage to Ovechkin's leg from the hamstring injury he was playing through.

The picture shows a massive purple bruise on Ovechkin's leg and with that injury it's no wonder that his playoff performance as impacted. While the picture appears to have been removed, RMNB managed to capture it and you can see that image below.

Ouch.
