Breaking: Canucks ownership makes a huge change
What impact will this have on the Aquilinis?
HockeyFeed
It’s not secret that the Vancouver Canucks ownership group, headed by majority owner Francesco Aquilini, doesn’t exactly have many supporters amongst the team’s fanbase. Maybe that’s why news that the team has made a major change within its ownership group was met with such fanfare online.
Victor de Bonis had been with the Canucks for 23 years and had served as its COO since 2007 when the Aquilini Group first acquired the team. It’s unclear exactly what this means for the team’s management structure moving forward, but fans hungry for change in Vancouver can’t help but read between the lines and inject their own narrative into the developments.
