Brad Marchand levels Matthew Tkachuk in intense first minutes of Game 2!
More details here:
Who said there was no rivalry between the Boston Bruins and Florida Panthers? In the second game of the second round series between the two teams, the Panthers wanted to come out strong seeing that they’re 1-0 in the series, despite having home advantage.
On Wednesday night, the Cats came out with a bang, especially gritty forward Matthew Tkachuk, who attempted right away to get under the Bruins’ skin near goalie Jeremy Swayman.
But boy did he meet his match!
Moments later, Bruins captain Brad Marchand dropped him like he was a piece of trash in the corner of the ice, sending Tkachuk flying to the ground, almost losing his helmet.
Tkachuk was trying to make a between the legs move, but Marchand was not going to let that happen.
This is the sequence that’s now going viral on social media:
I want the series to go the distance, all seven games please and more of this intense back and forth between Tkachuk and Marchand!
