Brad Marchand fights an opponent twice his size!
It's the size of the fight in the dog!

The popular saying, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog" certainly applied tonight for Boston Bruins captain Brad Marchand.
Standing at 5'9, Marchand isn't exactly the tallest of National Hockey League players, but he's been able to make the most of it by not only becoming a clutch scorer, but one of the League's biggest pests. And he had his work cut out for him tonight against Florida Panthers defenseman Niko Mikkola, who stands 6'4.
During tonight's clash between the top two teams in the Atlantic Division in Sunrise, Marchand engaged in fisticuffs with Mikkola, who stands a full six inches taller than him. Marchand appeared visibly agitated after enduring multiple cross-checks from Mikkola, who aimed to protect his goaltender. The altercation resulted in a brief yet spirited bout between the two players.
You certainly can't blame Marchand for trying!
