Brad Marchand delivers final shot at Team USA

Before Team Canada squared off against Team USA in the 4 Nations Face-Off championship game, Brad Marchand had some incredibly kind words to say about the Americans.

Without hesitation, he said that Team USA “is really the best team that I’ve ever played against.”

After winning the final game in a 3-2 overtime victory and hoisting the trophy, Marchand was having fun and took a parting shot at Team USA.

“I said it’s the best team that we’ve ever played against. I didn’t say the best team ever.”

He even took one last shot at the Tkachuk brothers, calling them out for their previous comments in the media about Saturday night’s game and the three consecutive fights that kicked it off.

After losing 3-1 on Saturday, Marchand and Team Canada got their revenge against Team USA in the championship game and I’m sure that’s why Marchand thought it’d be fun to laugh at his own statement after an incredible win.
