Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand is an incredible talent when it comes to the National Hockey League, but recently we've learned that Marchand will be extending his talents beyond hockey's icy playing surface.

In something of a surprise to many, Marchand is set to embark on an acting career that will see him guest-starring alongside a star-studded cast of celebrities. Marchand won't be acting in the traditional manner that you might expect but will instead be lending his voice to an animated television show produced by Disney.

That show is "Big City Greens" which is an animated comedy show that airs on the Disney Channel, one that has featured many big names in the past including starts like actor Danny DeVito, actor and comedian Patton Oswald, actress Lucy Lawless and singer Macy Gray.

Celebrity guest stars have become something of the norm for the show and that will once again be the case this season as Marchand will be joined by the likes of singer Michael Bolton, former NBA star Tim Robbins, actor and comedian Tom Green,  and actor and comedian Tim Meadows.

Unfortunately for fans hoping to see Marchand flex his acting chops you will have to wait a tiny bit longer with season 4 of Big City Greens set to premier on the 23rd of September, roughly one month from now.
